You may have seen this one earlier this year during our January Drop. Due to some extenuating circumstances with the group that took this lease, it is back up and available.

This property is smaller, but backs up to and nearly surrounded by over 8,000 acres of public hunting, in a hard to get to spot for public land hunters.

This property was leased by a single hunter in 2022, he set cameras and captured many photos of a Typical 12 Point 190″ class Buck of a Lifetime in October, 2022. He had very little time to hunt, went back home, renewed the lease for 2023, and never made it back to Ohio to hunt this year! I cannot say for sure if this buck is still alive, but we gotta believe if someone harvested him in 2023 at over 200″, we would have heard about it! Regardless, his genetics are there, and proves big bucks grow in this area.

Because of the caliber of this deer, its proximity to public, and e-scouts, we are not posting the property image or location of this property. Just know that it is in the western half of Pike County. Location and details will be given to the hunter that leases the property.

  • Must drive across another property owner’s property along the deeded easement to access the property, but it is behind locked gate, which is good. Maybe this is a PRO?
  • Someone else does hunt the property between this property and the road
  • Steep terrain for those that don’t prefer hills
