Available to deer hunt anytime outside of Ohio South Zone Duck Season. Duck Season first split is generally one week the last week in October and starts again after Deer Gun Season, until the end of January.

Some of the biggest and best deer on camera often show up on these waterfowl properties because of proximity to riverways and agriculture. If you look at the B&C map of the US, you will see that there is strong correlation between river and waterway systems and trophy whitetails.
These still gives you the most premium times to hunt:

• First Three weeks of October (opening Archery and pre-rut)
• Month of November (RUT)
• Deer Gun Season

YOU CAN ACCESS the properties anytime outside of duck season throughout the year to hang stands, bait, cameras, etc.

It is bordered by the Scioto River to the east, Creek to the North, and highway to the west. Likely soybeans this year.

PRO’s

• Good deer on camera this year. Local outfitter called and said he saw a GIANT buck making a scrape on it last year in daylight; tried to lease it from us 🙂
• Super easy access
• Flat Terrain
• On a great river corridor for rut travel and should be beans for early season (though not guaranteed)
• Easy to set up and hunt
• There is a back “hidden field” with a nice funnel behind the farm levee that makes a pinch point. It is obvious where to set up.
• Would be a good pair up with Pike 300, or Pike 30, both being relatively close by.
• Baiting, minerals, ATVs OK
• 1000’s of acres of woods to the west. 1000’s of acres of ag in every other direction…deer grow big here.

CON’s

• Mostly ag, not, for hunters looking for big woods.
• Road noise, if you are looking for tranquility
• This is field and river edge hunting, not big woods, for those looking for big woods.
